Going In Blind: MiSide Demo

When I first discovered this demo, it was only up on Itch io, but it has since appeared on GameJolt and Steam as well. In the video I mention that there was one updated build between when I downloaded it and recorded it. There has been several updates since I recorded this, so this demo in this video is several builds out of date. I will also say, the game actually looks a lot better than it does in this video. The compression on most of them hasn't been too bad, but on this one, it did a real number to the visuals.

An no, me reading what is on screen before it appears on screen is not a trick of the devil or the game. It's not me editing (I still don't edit, when I start using intros, those are not edited in, they are recorded in real time just before I start, but I digress). That's the desyncing issue. There are a few more videos I made before I finally switched over to OBS.

And here is something new. I've been aware of GameJolt for a while, but it's not what I thought it was. I thought it was kind of like Itch io, and it is to the extent that there seems to be developers selling and giving games away. But it also appears to be a social media of sorts. I'll explore it more in the future. Not sure what, if anything I'll post here but if I do, there you go, I here too.
