The Character of God: Empathy

This lesson examines what people today describe as empathy and studies what the Bible has been teaching about that quality for thousands of years. We see how Jesus practiced it, how empathy is part of what is called The Golden Rule, how it is a skill to be developed, and how using empathy helps the functioning of a congregation. This is the first unofficial lesson about God's character.
