Top News | The third lunar mission from India is getting closer to the moon every day. The lunar module "reduced its orbit to 113 km x 157 km" on Friday, according to the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), following its first "deboosting" at approximately 4 o'clock. The second and final deebosting, planned for early on August 20, 2023, likewise went well. The goals of Chandrayaan-3's mission are to demonstrate a gentle and safe landing on the moon's surface, to show how a rover can move around the moon, and to carry out in-situ scientific research.
