I want to dig 53,240 Dirt Bathtubs on my property to create a reliable water source for the local plants. Yes, it's an odd desert irrigation technique, but the plan seems solid... if the excavation equipment decides to cooperate.

I can't thrive off grid in the desert without assuring a food supply. Grass gets turned into animal protein. More water - more grass - more animal protein. Trees will eventually follow the grass.

To determine the effectiveness of my dirt bathtubs, we must patiently await the arrival of the upcoming monsoon season. There should be a large increase in greenery around the bathtubs later this summer.

After getting frustrated, covered in dirt and sunburned, I learned a lot. It's always a blast learning new skills, especially when they're challenging!
