All tribes of the land would wail at the coming of the Lord

The terrible tribulation that Jesus, Daniel and the Prophets foretold, is not in our future, but happened 2000 years ago in our past.
That generation that was responsible for the piercing/crucifixion of Christ has passed away long ago. They witnessed him coming in judgment. That judgment coming was manifested in the horrific slaughter of the Jews, the burning down of their city and the levelling of their once magnificent temple.
