Tammy said it was just time, and it coincided with her 30th class reunion. Since she had worn her basically the same since high school, and since the bangs and the top of the haircut were already short (MUST I ALWAYS START OUT WITH HAIR SO SHORT ON TOP WITH BANGS?!), the best move was to shroten the nape. But cutting the sides short would leave her with too short of hair for her face shape.
