You should reject the misplaced sentiment that Prabhupada’s chief mood was his so-called never-ending love for, and appreciation of, his institution and his institution’s leaders. The motive underlying that misconception is cent-per-cent anchored in ahankära. His mood never changed while he was manifest, and it has not changed now: He is pleased by service. Devotional service, either in this world or in the spiritual world, is the be-all and end-all of all existence, everywhere. If you have the service attitude, your mood matches the mood of Srila Prabhupada. Your service mood pleases him.
