Jeep Cherokee XJ modified Stock Bumper

Its time to remount the modified stock XJ bumper now that the rear tube fenders and corrosion protection are finished. I removed the rear bumper to while cleaning back the old undercoat to reapply the new stuff. While it was off I decided to strip it back and weld up some of the damage that its taken over the past three years. It also got a fresh coat of raptor liner paint.
In this video I mount the bumper but whilst doing that I show how the rear Tie In Brackets work in the back of the frame rail alongside the rear frame stiffeners, tire carrier tow bar and bumper mounts.
This main purpose of the tie in brackets are to replace the factory nut strip with something far more capable of taking the weight of a heavier bumper/tire carrier along with a larger aftermarket spare tire. Adding in a rear frame stiffener will also drastically help with this but you must stiffen the whole frame and not only the back.
