Making Tube Rock Sliders for the Jeep XJ

In the last video we recapped the box rocker install I welded into the Jeep XJ back in 2018. In this video I add on some 3mm wall 40mm diameter mild steel tubing onto it. This will function as an additional slider but also provide a step so that the roof top tent can be operated without constantly opening the doors.
I did this on a budget using mild steel tubing with pre bought bends that I could weld on. Sadly my friend hasn't got a tube bender that can bend anything more than 30mm diameter this was a little too big.
Hopefully they will be strong enough for what I do and help protect my doors from any more dents.
