The Pike push up is probably the most common of the body weight shoulder exercises and a nice progression towards the handstand push up. To make this exercise easier just elevate your hands up onto a bench or a chair to make it more challenging raise up your feet by putting them onto a chair or a bench. Once you are ready you can start to use a wall to elevate your feet as you progress towards a handstand push up.
