"Nightmarish" Gender Surgery On Children

During the Dangers of ‘Gender-Affirming Care’ for Children Hearing, Rep. Mike Johnson shows a podcast interview of gender reassignment surgeon, Dr. Blair Peters, of the Oregon Health Science University (OHSU) where Peters admits surgeries are experimental.

Rep Mike Johnson: "Before I provide a few opening remarks I'm going to play a two minute excerpt of a podcast interview with an individual named Dr Blair Peters at the Oregon Health Science University in Portland. He calls himself the queer surgeon and he boasts about the shocking, fully experimental, irreversible, and life altering invasive procedures that he and others are performing on children to surgically modified their genitals. I want everyone to hear this in his own words not mine. Takes special note of the frank admission that no one has published any studies on these shocking procedures, and they are 'as he says, just kind of learning and figuring out what works'.

Later in this video he admits to performing quote huge reconstructive surgery, rearranging anatomy, and then acknowledges that they know almost nothing about the outcomes for these children. He says, 'we'll know more in 5 to 10 years' and 'it'll be fascinating to see how all these kids turn out'. Wow. Blair Peters, M.D., (he/they) is a double fellowship-trained board certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon who specializes in gender-affirming surgery and peripheral nerve surgery.

The House Judiciary Subcommittee on the Constitution and Limited Government held a hearing on July 27, 2023. The hearing, "The Dangers and Due Process Violations of 'Gender-Affirming Care' for Children," examines and expose how children are being coerced by adults in positions of authority into life-altering and medically questionable gender transition procedures without full understanding of the meaning or impact.
