Fauci's “PR Tour" Denied Lab Leak Theory

Mark Meadows, former President Trump’s Chief of Staff, says Dr. Fauci went on a public campaign early in the pandemic to deny coronavirus as a lab leak despite two agencies reporting evidence.

Dr. Fauci should have known about a number of other things, and then all the sudden went on kind of a PR to her in defense of this natural contagion that supposedly happened from a market there. Listen, we've got two agencies that that say right now that they have some degree of confidence that it was a lab leak, as you reported accurately. Myself and President Trump mentioned this long ago, that we had seen information that let us to believe that this was not only, not a just a coincidence, but certainly something that needed to be investigated further and here's what we're seeing. We're seeing that Dr. Fauci should have had warning signs go up, and it took president Trump to say enough is enough, we're not going to send money there. And there was great push back from Dr Fauci with me. He says, you know we can't cut off this funding. And indeed President Trump was very strong in that. And yet we are seeing funding coming from NIH and others in the Biden Administration that would still send troubling alarm bells across the country.
