Washington’s Debt Bomb - The Clock Is Ticking!

Patriots, there is a debt bomb and the clock is ticking right now. You the taxpayers are on the hook. Why is it getting so much worse right now? Well, let's look at the data in ChalkTalk.

Biden's Inflation
When Biden took office 10-year yield, the benchmark interest rate, was just above 1%. It is now 3.74%. Crude oil was only $48 a barrel, it is now $79 a barrel. As interests soar, so do your costs to service the staggering federal debt. In 2022 you spent $475 billion just on interest payments. That was a 35% versus Biden's first year in office. But the trend is getting even worse. So far in 2023 interest costs are up 41% versus that terrible comparison of 2022. Consequently, looking forward, interest costs are going to exceed what we spend on National Defense by 2026. Patriots, it is imperative that the House GOP hold the line in these upcoming debt ceiling negotiations and get this madness under control.
