Biden: ‘No Regrets’ Over Not Revealing Classified Docs Before Midterms

While Biden was in Aptos, CA delivering remarks, the only question he answered for the press was, do you have any regret sir, that you did not reveal the existence of the documents back in November before the midterms?

Biden: (reading from card) Just hang on, okay? Look, as we found, we found a handful of documents were failed, were filed in the wrong place. We immediately turned them over to the Archives and Justice Department. We're fully cooperating and looking forward to getting this resolved quickly. I think you're going to find there's nothing there. I have no regrets. I'm following what the lawyers have told me they want me to do. It's exactly what we're doing. There's no there there. Thank you.

Biden took his lawyers advice. Could it be that the FBI went after Trump's documents as a cover for Biden's illegal activities, vice presidents cannot declassify documents? Was the goal to soften the public's view of what Biden had done by going after Trump, who was allowed to declassify documents?
