John Bolton Says He Helped Plan Foreign Coups D’etat

Former National Security Advisor, John Bolton, claims he previously helped plan attempted coups of foreign leaders during an interview on CNN's "The Lead" with Jake Trapper after the January 6th Committee Hearings.

Jake Tapper: I don’t know that I agree with you, to be fair, with all due respect. One doesn’t have to be brilliant to attempt a coup.

John Bolton: As somebody who has helped plan coups d’etat—not here but, you know, [in] other places—it takes a lot of work.
