A lot of people are talking about how index funds might affect the integrity of the stock market and potentially this could lead to a bubble crashing the market again. At the extreme, people have even compared index funds to the debt obligations that sent the global financial market into crisis in 2008.

In a recent interview with Michael Burry, this was his suggestion but in this video I break down the key concepts to be aware of before considering this as a potential threat.
