Republican Mark Meuser ran for California secretary of state in 2018. He is a practicing election law attorney and a former chief of staff for a Missouri state senator. Marc tells a sad example of how an eagerness to register voters by the California Department of Motor Vehicles leads to a green card holders deportation. Also J. ACV advocates against the growing movement around the nation to allow green card holders to vote in school board and some municipal elections.
