4x4: The ONLY Choice For Towing An RV!
Considering a truck to tow your fifth wheel or travel trailer? Think you can get away with spending less on a 2wd? Think again. If you're gonna RV, you're gonna want a 4-wheel drive truck. All of you. RV living is fun, bet there are challenges. One of them is ending up in conditions you don't expect - like mud, sand, dirt, and snow. If all you have is a 2 wheel drive truck, you might end up calling AAA to tow your rig out of there.

4-wheel drive v 2-wheel drive is maybe the biggest question among truck geeks. I have the answer. I'll tell you why everyone who tows a travel trailer or fifth wheel needs a 4x4 truck. Which is the best truck to tow a fifth wheel? Ford? Chevy? Dodge? Doesn't matter. Just get a 4x4.

We have a base model 2018 Ford F350 Dually. It was for sure the right call for us.
