RV Solar can be a game changer. With a complete RV solar system you can run most of your electrical, totally off grid. I knew NOTHING about RV solar - not even RV solar basics - when we bought our vandalized RV. I didn't know a watt from a volt from an amp. Even after watching a bunch or RV solar 101 videos, I was still clueless and had so many questions that I couldn't find the answers to. You'll have the same questions. I'll give you some answers. There is nothing intuitive about RV solar and if you do things wrong it can be dangerous.

You need the right RV solar parts for an RV solar install, including an MPPT solar charge controller (we went with the Epever); RV batteries, preferably lithium iron phosphate rv batteries; rv solar panels; an rv inverter; a solar batter charger aka power converter; a bunch of wires and connectors and a whole lot of patience!

RV life is fun - we made all of the RV solar mistakes - including almost destroying our batteries and frying our brand new RV generator. RV electrical is no joke. I hope this video - showing our trials and the eventual outcome of our DIY solar system - will make RV solar simplified - simple rv solar setup.
