Student Workers Take On Columbia University's Greed

The biggest strike in America right now is happening at Columbia University, where 3,000 student workers are fighting for a livable wage, health benefits, and more. Columbia says it can't afford workers' demands — after its most lucrative year in 15 years.

Columbia University is one of the country's most powerful institutions with an endowment of $14.4 billion. It's stealing the below-poverty-line wages of its graduate student workers and illegally punishing them for striking. We spoke to the student workers who are fighting back.
