Chandrayaan 3 Successful Soft Landing on Moon | ISRO Chandrayaan 3 Landing

Chandrayaan-3 is India’s third lunar mission, which was launched on July 22, 2019, by the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). The mission aimed to make a soft landing on the surface of the Moon, which means that the spacecraft would land gently on the lunar surface without any damage. On August 23, 2023, the Vikram lander of Chandrayaan-3 successfully made a soft landing on the Moon near its south pole. This made India the fourth country ever to achieve a soft landing on the Moon, after the US, the former Soviet Union, and China.
