Don’t force your fighting dogs to be friends

Don’t try to force your fighting dogs to be friends. When your dogs are fighting in the home, it’s important that they safely occupy the same space. HOWEVER, they don’t have to be best friends. If they choose at first to create distance and not engage with each other, that’s not a bad thing! It means they are making a good choice to remove themselves from a situation they may not be comfortable enough to handle properly just yet.
