In the event China invades Taiwan American soldiers should not be expected to sacrifices their lives in defense of the Semi-Conductor industry. Americans are resilient and creative, we can just as easily build up our own industry with the same level of effort and mobilization a war would require. This would put people to work and help Americans prosper instead of dying.
