Surely you also have one or the other mouthguard at home. But do you also have one lying in your closet? In fact, this is an ingenious trick, but first you need to prepare it a bit.

Cut the mouthguard open on one side and pour rice or coarse-grained salt into it. Then add a few drops of an essential oil of your choice. Close the mouthguard again with the ribbon from the cut side.

Rice or salt is perfect to keep the essential oil for a long time. So you can put this prepared mouthguard in your cupboard and it will provide a pleasant scent there.

When the scent wears off, all you have to do is knead the mouth guard a bit to reactivate the oil! If you've never done it before, be sure to give it a try.
