You surely use chapstick for your lips, but have you ever had the idea to smear chapstick on your fridge? In this short video, I'll show you why you should do just that.

Because we don't want to just smear chapstick on the fridge, we want to spread it on a very specific area. And we're talking about the rubber or the door seal of the refrigerator. Because this becomes more and more porous over time.

As a result, the refrigerator is no longer properly sealed and it consumes significantly more energy. Therefore, it is important that you always keep the rubber nice and supple.

And for this you can simply use chapstick. Lubricate the whole rubber once, preferably every 1-2 months. If you've never done this before, be sure to give it a try.
