THE BATTLE OF PHILLIPI MADE GEORGE MCCLELLON FAMOUS!

In this clip from our Road To Bull Run episode, McClellan performed strong at the battle of Phillipi on June 3rd, 1863 and shot to overnight fame. This battle is what also convinced the higher ups that they could get to Richmond, which leads to First Bull Run.
