When you think of fabric softener, you probably think of your laundry and not your tap, but fabric softener can help you enormously at the tap. Because you can use fabric softener to ensure that you have to clean the tap much less often.

This is how the trick works. First, clean your tap. Then put a very small amount of fabric softener on a cloth and rub it on your tap. It should not be so much that the tap sticks.

In the end, you should not see the fabric softener on the tap. But because of the thin layer, you have now sealed it and water will slide right down and no longer stick to the tap.
