Self-care with a new baby

Life with a new baby has been compared to recovering from a car accident and running in a marathon. Motherhood is both exciting and exhausting, flipping life upside and demanding more of us than we knew we were capable of. Not only does it feel like a challenge to keep our babes alive, it can also feel hard to regain a sense of self after having a kid. Our lives are consumed with tiny baby things and after a few days .. and weeks .. and months .. of interrupted sleep, it is common to feel like we don't know who we are. The truth is the better we take care of ourselves the better equipped we will be to care for our families, so then the question is, how do we take care of ourselves? This video shares my personal experience as a mom of two young children and shares some tips for taking care of yourself now that your baby is here.
