When you pick up a can of carbonated beverage, do you always tap the can at least 3 times before opening it? In this video I'll show you why you should definitely do that!

Because such a can is always shaken a little bit. No matter whether during a car ride, if you run with it through the area, or maybe even with full intention. When you then open this can, the entire drink comes out at you.

That's because the carbon dioxide settles on the side walls, so as soon as the can is opened, it shoots upward, making the drink bubble. However, if you tap the can or the side walls several times before opening, the carbonic acid will dissolve and go up.

This way, when you open the can, the beverage will not come towards you. This works with all carbonated beverage cans. So try it out for yourself in the future.
