When you're hungry, you're sure to reach for some potatoes. Especially jacket potatoes are incredibly delicious and also relatively quick to prepare. If only there would not be the peeling of the potatoes. But there is a really ingenious trick, which I would like to show you in this short video.

For this you cut the skin of the potato once around minimally. It really only needs to be a very fine cut through the skin. The important thing is that it goes all the way around once. This only takes a few seconds and then you can cook the potatoes as usual.

Once they are done cooking, you should take them out of the pot directly into an ice bath and leave them in there for a few seconds. Then take the potato out and simply peel off the skin at both ends.

This way, peeling the potato is incredibly fast. And you don't have a problem with the potatoes being too cold. Because the few seconds in the ice bath will hardly change the temperature of the potato.
