Big Boss and the Diamond Dogs continue to operate in both Afghanistan and Africa. The next major mission is to rescue a man, codenamed the Viscount. the CFA are holding the Viscount and other British prisoners for interrogation, and might execute them. Big Boss has to sneak in and manage to rescue the Viscount without getting caught. As the CFA might execute him if they believe there is an intruder in their base.
