Genshin Impact Devs Confess Crying dahil sa Zelda Breath of the Wild Clone Criticism

Pretty sure the majority here are familiar with Genshin Impact, if not you can go to any convention pretty sure at least one person is cosplaying a Genhin Impact character. So do you remember the controversy when it was first revealed? Well basically it's being compared to Zelda Breath of the Wild. Some even dubbed it Breath of the Waifu. Basically, they were accused of cloning Zelda Breath of the Wild. So why are we talking about it its been ages, well apparently the accusation took a heavy toll on the development team. This is according to Liu "Dawei" Wei, the co-founder and current president of miHoYo. To the point many of his colleagues were crying and saying "Why is this happening?" and "What did we do wrong? What do you guys think about this did they copy it? If yes is that wrong? Copying 1 to 1 is bad, especially without innovation, Personally, Mihoyo evolve its products line beyond it which contributed to many good watts in the gaming industry. To be fair fast forward to today Mihoyo got so big it has gacha money it can leakers or copyright infringements.
