Normally, you shouldn't send all the money you own to someone you haven't met in another country to build a house that you won't own.

Since they are married, I would think they would live there, and maybe a relative or two will also. A typhoon was said to have destroyed her house. He sent multiple checks to her for the house, over time. He has about 250 dollars in his bank account.

Brandan is sure she isn't going to scam him and since they apparantly are married, maybe she is for real. They are both 23.

I am good with two young people getting married. I don't like that he spent so much time on the phone with her that he lost some jobs.

They will have to work things out like anyone else and I hope he learns how to lead and be a good husband.

Parents or godparents should learn about the potential for a scam.

Both will have a lot of growing up to do and you shouldn't think you have to have it all together before you get married.

"What happens if it doesn't work out?" is a fair question. Life is not without risks. Now married, HE must take the lead to make sure they STAY married.

I don't know what his plans are for work, but that is obviously a major issue.

I don't know if he is going to go back to is home country or what.

There is a part of me that thinks that without a large age gap, this couple might have a better chance of making it work.

I don't think their ages will be a negative. I don't have any reason to believe it won't work out.
