Playing With Diabetes

Many reading this will know that Type II Diabetes is not a good thing. Everyone gets a prescription to treat it but we are not really told the pill is nothing more than a band-aid. We all need to ask our doctor how many of the pills we are on could be reduced, or even discontinued if we were a healthy weight?

Why do we ignore the signs (through continued prescriptions) to merely get a few years of better health when by simply losing weight the problem could go away for the rest of your life?
