The City of Sherwood, Arkansas held a city council meeting Monday August 29th, 2023. The main focus of the meeting was the replacement of current owner of the Green Golf Park Joey's Bar & Grill. The current owner, Caitlin Baum, was promised a negotiated deal regarding the lease for the restaurant, but the deal was later changed to a bid process.

A possible replacement for Caitlin Baum is Darin & Vicky Keith, who donated and supported Mayor Townsell.
