July 4th part three

Sailing parts of Holland channel and getting into our slip. We usually stay off the water on the big holidays (Memorial day, Labor Day and July 4th). The lake can be extremely busy, and unfortunately there are often a large number of people having a bit too much fun out on the water. We left in the early morning and made sure to be back in around noon.

This actually helped us out quite a bit because the wind really died out around 1pm. Many of our dock mates went out later in the day and only had a few knots of wind!
