The Man Who Responded to Titanic SOS From His Garden Shed!

Arthur Moore of Pontllanfraith in South Wales was an amateur radio operator, he became famous after he picked up the SOS signal from the Titanic on the night it sank. He is believed to be the first person to respond to the calls, and inform his local police station. He also went on to be involved in the discovery of the Titanic wreck in 1985.
