If you have a kettle, you know the problem all too well! After a while, there is a lot of lime scale and other deposits, especially at the bottom of the kettle. These are not only unsightly, but during use, some of it always dissolves, which you then have with in your drinks. But a lemon can actually help you with that.

Cut it into slices and put it into your kettle along with about a liter of water. Now, turn on your kettle once so that the mixture gets hot. After that, turn off the kettle and wait for about 15-30 minutes. The citric acid will now do its job and dissolve the lime from your kettle. After that, you just have to dump it out and rinse it a few times with clean water. And then you will have a nice result and a lime-free kettle.

This method is much nicer than using vinegar for descaling. Because vinegar really stinks extremely and is therefore very unpleasant to use. Therefore, fall back on lemons to descale the kettle, so that it is quickly freshly descaled again!
