Grilling is always delicious, but what comes after is no fun at all. Because the grill grate must of course be cleaned after grilling. And that is usually anything but a nice task. But fortunately, there is a simple little trick that I would like to show you here. With this you can clean your grill grate easily and effortlessly.

For this, you can take a piece of aluminum foil in the first step, this once crumple something and then rub with the piece of aluminum foil over the grill grate. This will help you to loosen the coarse dirt. It's best to put something underneath so that the mess isn't too big. Then you need an old newspaper.

With the help of newspaper, you can now get rid of the remaining dirt. To do this, soak the newspaper in water so that it is really wet. Then wrap your grill grate in the wet newspaper. Now you have to let it soak for a few hours. It is best to leave the grill in the newspaper overnight. The next morning you unwrap it again and then all the dirt is really softened.

Now you can wipe with a conventional cloth over the grill grate, just to get the loosened dirt from the grill grate. Because these are now softened that you no longer need to scrub! Rinse the grill grate again under the water, then dry it off and you can put it back in the cupboard for the next time you grill.
