Frozen Angels

How were these realistic statues created? History tells us only certain masters such as Michelangelo were able to create these, yet we find similar exceptionally artistic statuary all over the world, many with little or no attribution or explanation. Why did every sculptor create these angelic beings with the same anatomy, clothing and hairstyles? What are these mysterious objects they hold? Current theology tells us that Angels were nongendered, yet this physical evidence of Angel Art seems to indicate a different story. These are just a few of the beautiful pieces you can still find around the world eternal guardians with a mysterious story. Enjoy!
