Freedom of speech is meant to protect unpopular speech

When a Colorado school targeted a kid because of his Gadsden flag backpack flair, I did not expect the gay Democrat Colorado Governor Jared Polis to come to his defense.

But Polis did, he put CNN's Abby Phillips in her place as she tried to argue that the scary flag shouldn't be allowed because of how it makes dumb people feel.

Good for him, nice to see him explain that freedom of speech is meant to protect unpopular speech
