Ask Christians what Jesus did on the cross, and they will tell you that Jesus died on the cross to pay the price for our sins. And, while that is true, unfortunately, it only scratches the surface of all the things that Jesus actually did for us on the cross. Jesus did so much more for us.

The proof is in the Bible. Follow this teaching and learn that Jesus took to the cross a long list of bad things so that we don’t have to carry those things. Essentially, all of the garbage that came with the fall of man, Jesus carried that to the cross. That list includes, among other things: sin, guilt, condemnation, sickness, disease, injury, rebellions, mental anguish, depression, anxiety, and even our twisted, perverted sin nature. Jesus did not just take away the penalty for our sin, He even took away the debt, the record of that sin, too, leaving us not just forgiven, but also innocent.
