TRUMP ON HILLARY CLINTON -- Standing Ovation, Applause and "Respect"

It's now old news that Donald Trump made a big song and dance about sending Hillary Clinton to jail over her alleged acid washing of 33,000 emails on a private email server during her time as Secretary of State under the Obama administration.

"Lock her up" was the infamous chant at Trump rallies as he continued to sell the idea that once in power, Trump would "drain the swamp" and send the deep state minions to prison for their crimes against the American people.

However, the reality is that Trump has "a lot of respect" for the Clintons, as this clip clearly shows. In a speech at the Inaugural Committee Luncheon, Trump shared his respect for Bill and Hillary Clinton. He asked the Republicans and Democrats present to recognise her, and those in the room rose and applauded.

So ask yourself, what was this "lock her up" all about that Trump encouraged? He even admitted after the fact that this wasn't going to happen by saying "that plays great before the election, but now we don't care..." (see link below).

Did Trump ever have any intention of appointing a special counsel to look into the matter or was it all just theatre, designed to snag the people's vote?
