Befriending Orphaned Blacktail Deer and Their Reactions to My Elderly Chihuahua || Viral Verse

Blacktail deer are plentiful in my wooded neighborhood, and I've befriended several that were orphaned. They show up most days, hoping I'll come out and provide some apples, peanuts and seeds. If I happen to let out our elderly chihuahua to do his business when they are there, they watch him like an approaching mountain lion. The dog has declining vision and hearing, so he just walks around the yard, completely unaware that deer are watching his every move!
