Special Agent Bob Castioni passed away due to cancer, which he developed following his assignment to the search and recovery efforts at the World Trade Center site after the 9/11 terrorist attacks. He had served with the United States Department of Homeland Security's Immigration and Customs Enforcement unit, specifically in Homeland Security Investigations, for 33 years. He is survived by his wife, two daughters, a son, three brothers, a sister, and three grandchildren.
