Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) Police has denounced a recent BBC article which alleged state overreach against journalists in the union territory. Raising strong objections, the J&K Police On X, formerly known as Twitter, said the BBC article unfairly castigates its efforts to maintain law and order in the union territory. The UT police also threatened the BBC with legal action.
