The problem Xi Jinping’s military reform created for the Chinese PLA

Xi Jinping's military reform was designed to obtain control while modernizing China's PLA. Xi reorganized the PLA's 7 military regions into 5 war zones or theater commands. He flattened the Central Military Commission's organizations. But the reform created a problem. The new organization isn't compatible with the CCP's command style and is not in sync with the Chinese Communist Party's ideology. The reform has sowed distrust and disloyalty in the Chinese military. The problem has manifested through the recent Rocket Force crisis, but the CCP leader isn't aware of how the situation came to be.
