The Hidden Story of King Solomon: Wisdom and Consequences
While Solomon was a beloved ruler, his history also includes some less favorable aspects. The Bible is a comprehensive and impartial book that doesn't try to shield us from the imperfections of our Faith Heroes. It's hard to think of the Kings remembered fondly in the Bible without including Solomon; he will always be remembered as a king who loved God so much that he offered 1000 sacrifices, asked for wisdom, and shone with such uncommon understanding that he brought peace and an end to wars, as reported in 1 Kings Chapter 3, verses 3 to 14.
