PPC HQ, Ottawa, June 11, 2021 — The Leader of the People’s Party of Canada, Maxime Bernier, was arrested by RCMP officers in St-Pierre-Jolys, Manitoba, after making an appearance to speak against government lockdowns at a rally with supporters in that small town. Mr. Bernier was beginning a 3-day tour of the province to denounce lockdown policies, as he has been doing in six different provinces for several months.
