WTF is Going On?!???

How could I have made ten holes in the tube with round edged tools?
Makes no sense to me, changed a million tires on bikes when young this never happened.
When pumped the tube out the bag initially it pumped a bit to give it shape but the psi wasn’t going up, some of the holes were little pin holes, I just don’t see how I could have made them, and that many?
Tire went on without issue didn’t even touch the tube man, maybe was holy already I’m not even sure what to make of it, shit is nuts.
